This July 10 was given the official list of nominees for the 2014 Emmy Awards. The 66th version of the event will hold its ceremony on August 25, where it will eventually meet the winners.
The critics have already released their favorites like Orange is the new black (Netflix) as best comedy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus to repeat the course as best comedy actress (Veep) or True detective to fight the scepter of best drama against Breaking Bad.
But additional preferences, channels and productions for leading figures struggling framing event.
- HBO stands as the channel with more productions vying for the Emmy 2014 with 99 appearances and taking over match series in most of the categories. What are CBS with 47 and NBC with 46.
- However, the Internet TV network, Netflix has managed to earn a spot on the awards after opening the spectrum for its productions to compete with TV. This year already ranks betting competition with 31, ranking seventh in the channels.
- Game of Thrones, HBO's hit series, stands as the most nominated with 19 appearances. The most notable is their constant strife in best drama series award that has not been obtained.
- Fargo, series premiered in 2014, is one of the revelations of the year, boasting 18 nominations, only one under Game of Thrones. Their most important match will be in best miniseries.
- Modern Family could reach a record: win this, his fifth nomination for best comedy, would equal the feat of Frasier that between 1994 and 1998 won the award five consecutive times for Best Comedy Series. His streak was overcome by Ally McBeal in 1999.
