The case of
a Brazilian man who was born with folding neck back and head on back has caused
worldwide concern because of the obstacles he has overcome despite their
disability.
Claudio
Vieira de Oliveira, 37, a native of Santo Montse, graduated as an accountant
and now works at conferences to tell how difficult it has been his life and his
story of overcoming.
I was able
to adapt my body to the world, I see myself as different, I am a normal person,
"he told Britain's Daily Mirror website.
The
Brazilian said that during his lectures several times asked if he sees things
upside down, the answer is "no".
Claudio's
mother said that although doctors warned him that his son had little chance of
survival with disability, she decided to have it.
People
started telling me that the baby would die because I could barely breathe when
he was born, "said Maria Jose.
The
condition of Claudio called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita is a rare
syndrome that affects just one in 3000 births.
"TV is
on, answer my phone, use the internet ... I do everything by myself," said
Oliveira.
